Clif Bar Deprivation and Tropical Paradise

That right there is no ordinary stash of Clif Bars. That right there is the actual variety of Clif Bars that is available to me. Isn't that pitiful?

To be honest we actually have 3 more that I am not representing because I think they are vile. Maple nut something or other. Carrot Cake and oatmeal something .

This stuff . O M G . It is going to be the death of me . It is just so delicious. I haven't even thought of what to use it on because I have eaten it off a spoon more than once. I also made delicious hot chocolates last night with a spoonful shoved in . GO! RUN I SAY to superstore and get some . 2 /7 or 9.00 i can't recall which but so good. I can't even put it into words as you can see.

Oh superstore is there anything you can't do ?

While it does nothing for dry hands it smellls delicious and that's what really important. It reminds me a lot of this coconut lime body lotion I have. Anything that can take you away from the winter blahs to a tropical oasis for a moment or two is awesome

This is the closest I am going to get to an island oasis right now.

I've just returned from an incredibly beautiful and relaxing couple of days at the cottage. It was such a relief because Christmas was pretty stressful for me.
I recieved so many amazing Christmas presents that I'm sure I'll talk about to death in the coming days but today I'll let the pictures do the talking.


Yup best bf got me a nikon :)

I hope to return to regular blogging activities shortly. Not a recording :D
Have a tonne of blogs to catch up on ( thankfully google reader has NOT stopped counting yet which is always a good sign ) and I want to try to put in place in some more specific goals for 2010.

Personal Snow Day

So after walking about two feet outside the apartment , I said a curse word or two and a prayer for my cardy uggs that were getting wet! and turned around and went back inside.
Threw off the clothes I had just put on and replaced them with super comfy soft ones I wouldn't want the public to see, emailed my homework to a class mate to hand in for me and I'm taking a personal snow day today.

Why I need one in my life ?
It's hilariously cute and a conversation piece. Also I always seem to be wearing black when I bake and end up looking a mess afterwards.

What's your ideal way to spend a snow day or a day off ?

For me I am happy just staying in where its warm . Doing around the house type stuff. Cooking , cleaning , yup a housewife :)

Do you like winter weather ? Hate it ?

I'm a horrible Canadian who just can't take the cold. The snow is something else altogether . It's just a big inconvenience to me . Nothing worse than having to spend your day in half wet clothes because you didn't anticipate the snow .
